Today is the perfect day. It’s the perfect day to forgive that person—you know the one. The person who hurt you. The person who took you for granted. The one who betrayed your trust. The person who was supposed to be there for you but left you hanging. Maybe it was someone who was meant to care for you but ended up doing the exact opposite. Yes, that person. Today is the perfect day to forgive them.

Here’s why: you’ve been wanting God to answer your prayers. You’ve been waiting for God to do amazing things in your life. You’ve been hoping to connect with people of influence, seeking new opportunities, and striving to raise the bar and reach the next level in this season. But here’s the truth—everything you’re hoping for is on the other side of you forgiving that person. It’s right there, just beyond that act of forgiveness.

I know you’ve heard it before, and it might sound like a cliché: forgiving someone isn’t about them; it’s about you. Here’s the thing: when Jesus was teaching His disciples how to pray, He said, “Lord, forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Notice the connection—God forgives us as we forgive others.

Your breakthrough isn’t tied to meeting someone new or even to your fasting and prayers. Today, your breakthrough lies in forgiving others.

So take a moment—release the hurt, let go of the grudge, and forgive that person. Then watch what God begins to do in youthrough you, and for you.

All right, talk to you later. Peace.
